The Unbroken: Deleted Scenes 2 - Cantic

Published by C. L. Clark in magic of the lost Share

Hello, again, beloveds!

I've just spent a week and a half at the residency for the Vermont College for Fine Arts (in California--I know), where I'm now part of the writing MFA faculty. I'm pleasantly wrung out and simultaneously sodden and heavy as a sponge. It was great sharing a space with so many creatives from so many disciplines, and I'm full of ideas and possibility. I'm already thinking of the workshop and lecture I want to give in January. In the meantime, I have books to write and I didn't get much of that done. In fact, I'm still traveling, so I probably still won't get much on the page, but there are so many things I want to say and do and try.

For now, however, it is time for the latest installment of deleted scenes!

And now for a point of view that I have promised existed but have never shown evidence for! I give you...the Blood General, at a vulnerable moment.

A bit of a reflection follows.

Enjoy.
